I can hardly believe that my youngest child turned 5 yesterday and she had her birthday party today. I can still remember when she was born. All the pain got washed away when I heard her first cry, when I finally felt her on my chest and when I saw her face. She was so beautiful then but she is more beautiful now. Time flew by so fast, I didn’t realize that five years had passed.

My daughter is very smart in her own little way, she has her attitude that might be annoying to others, but to me, it defines her character. She is a mommy’s girl and I love that. I love it when she tells me that I am her best friend and that she will love me forever. It saddens me to think that in few more months, she will start Kindergarten and won’t be with me all day and all night. But it’s part of her growing up. Among my four children, she is the most stubborn one, the most clingy, the one with attitude, the one that always gets sent to the corner, but I can tell you one thing, she is my angel and she is my strength.
She saves me from daddy when I am being tickled, she would kiss my boo boo when I get hurt, she would tell me that she will save me from monsters even if she herself is scared. It’s hard to believe that she is ready to leave my side and face the other side of the world outside our home. She’s scared but I know with her strong character, she will be just fine.
Five years later....
Now, here is my sweet daughter, ready to spread her wings and ready to fly. I love you so much Sweetheart, and Happy Happy Birthday!
